Christmas Party - Friday 11th December

This years Christmas dinner is once again at Ye Olde Starr Inn in Bridlington Old Town starting at 19:30. The parking facilities are excellent at the Olde Starr and we find the £17.95 per person very competative. This year the establishment is under new management so hopefully we''ll receive the same great service. A menu is available for download here. This is similar to last years menu which went down well. We are required to provide the establishment with numbers in advance (Tuesday 1st December) for starters, main courses, and desserts, therefore can you please inform either Jeff Anderson or James Place of your selection along with full payment no later than Tuesday 1st December at the AGM. Like last year the meals have to be fully paid for in advance which gives the advantage of not having to mess around with deposits and money on the night. I hope to see you all there.

Annual General Meeting - Tuesday 1st December

The Annual General Meeting is at the Burton Arms, Burton Flemming from 19:30 onwards. Arrive 15 minutes early as the meeting starts at this time. Can ALL members please make an extra effort to attend the AGM as it is the most important meeting of the year. We will be dissussing next years fees and electing the 2010 committee. An agenda has been posted to all current members and we'll keep you up to date in the forum.

Indoor flying - Starting Thursday 15th of October every thursday after

Hunmanby Sport and Leisure - Club member David Bradley has very kindly paid for and booked Humanby Sport and Leisure for indoor flying every Thursday up untill Christmas. The two hour slot is from 20:00 to 22:00 and costs only £1. This money will be used to further book indoor flying into 2010. You do not have to be a WHMFC member to fly, but you DO have to have current BMFA membership to fly. However we do welcome people with an interest to come and watch. This is purely for insurance purposes and the fact that any damage caused would need to be paid for. This means all the rules which apply at you local club apply here. So for instance flying a model on 72 MHz would not be acceptable for obvious insurance reasons. One last stipulation is you need to bring some training type shoes as outdoor shoes are not permitted on the floor. We've got some pictures of the hall if you'd like to see them then sign up to our forum. If you are unsure where to go please click here
