We'll then get in contact with you to arrange payment of your club fees. Our fees run from 1st January to 31st December and they are £80. This includes 12 months membership to the BMFA (British Model Flying Association) of which we are an affiliated club.
Once your payment has cleared you'll be issued with a flying pass. This card is used for the peg system. We have adopted the peg on and off system to further decrease the chance of anyone getting shot down. This also allows other members to know you're a current member and you're insured to fly.
Here is a list of the currently available 35MHz frequencies. This list is only as accurate as the information we are given so we cannot guarantee these free channels, but it is a good indication. There are quite a few free spaces so if you are new to the hobby then using one of these will ensure you get more air time than if you were sharing. We also welcome the use of 2.4GHz radio gear so if you are using 2.4GHz equipment then this obviously doesn't apply.
